This page outlines the policies for using Not A Farm Girl and shopping from the Not A Farm Girl Shop – If I Were A Farm Girl. If you have questions that aren’t answered here, feel free to reach out.
Where You Can Shop
I sell through both Etsy and Amazon.
Etsy: full collection + seasonal drops first (best place to browse everything).
Amazon: a small selection of bestsellers is available on Amazon for Prime shipping. Prices may be slightly higher to account for additional fees.
Note: Your final shipping options, taxes, and delivery estimates are set by the platform you purchase through (Shopify or Etsy). Always refer to the checkout details on that platform for the final numbers.
Processing Times
Most orders ship within 3 business days (that’s my time to package and mail out).
Custom items take 7–11 business days to process (details will be shown on the listing).
If you’re ordering for a specific date, check the listing first or email me before you purchase. I’ll always be honest about what’s realistic.
Shipping + Delivery
Shipping options and delivery estimates are shown at checkout (Shopify or Etsy). Delivery timelines can vary based on the carrier, your location, and seasonal volume.
Quick clarity:
Processing time = how long it takes me to prep your order.
Delivery time = how long the carrier takes after it ships.
Cancellations
Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of placing your order.
After 24 hours, your order is usually already in the packaging workflow (since most items ship within 3 business days), so I may not be able to cancel it.
Returns + Exchanges (14 Days)
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery.
To keep it simple:
Items must be unused and in their original condition/packaging.
Return shipping is typically the customer’s responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
Digital downloads are generally final sale (unless there’s a technical issue with the file).
How to Start a Return (Email Me)
To request a return, please email [email protected] within 14 days of delivery.
In your email, include:
Your full name
Your order number
Where you purchased (Shopify or Etsy)
The item(s) you’d like to return
The reason for the return (quick note is fine)
Once I confirm your return is approved, I’ll reply with next steps.
Important: Please wait for approval before mailing anything back, so your return doesn’t get lost in the shuffle.
Damages + Issues
If something arrives damaged or incorrect, please email [email protected] within 48 hours of delivery and include:
A photo of the item
A photo of the packaging (if relevant)
Your order number and whether you purchased on Shopify or Etsy
I’ll help you sort it quickly.
Handmade vs Curated
I keep this super clear:
Handmade: made by me in small batches.
Curated: sourced from approved partners and sample-tested by me before it hits the shop.
The product title will always tell you which.
Care + Use Notes
Please follow the included instructions for any products or tools. If you have allergies or sensitivities, review ingredient lists carefully and discontinue use if irritation occurs.
Free Downloads (Personal Use Only)
Free downloads are for personal use only. That means you can print and use them at home, but you may not use them for business purposes, redistribute them, or upload/share the file.
Paid Downloads (Small Business Use Allowed)
If you purchase a download through my shop, you may use it in your own small business (for example: your farmstand, porch pickup setup, packaging, or customer handouts for your business).
What’s allowed:
Print and use for your own business operations
Print as many copies as you reasonably need for your own business
What’s not allowed:
Reselling the digital file
Sharing the file with others (including in groups, forums, or as a “freebie”)
Uploading it anywhere publicly (or privately) for others to access
Claiming the design as your own or removing branding if included
Using it as part of a product you sell as a digital download
License note: This license is for one business owner (non-transferable). If someone else wants to use it, they’ll need to purchase their own copy.
